What happens when an account expires?
When an account expires - after a free trial or an expired subscription - your links can still be clicked, but won't take visitors directly to the destination URL. The redirect stops first at an interstitial (Preview) page, requiring a second click to reach the final destination. Expired accounts can not edit links or create new ones.
SUMMARY
- Audiences clicking on URLs fail to go directly to the final destination.
- You can't edit links or create new ones.
- Most free trial glitches frequently occur as a result.
An account can expire under two scenarios:
1. You want it to (i.e., it's deliberate).
2. The opposite, it just happened while progressing nicely.
We hope it's (2) above, but if (1) we're sorry to see you leave TinyCC.
- Either way, when your audience clicks your links, they won't go directly to the destination URL. Why? The link diverts to an interstitial (Preview) page first, requiring a second click to continue to the final destination. Of course, this is not ideal because visitors have little patience and thus bounce without clicking again.
- Another setting dead-end occurs when accounts expire: you can't edit links or create new ones.
