What are satellite accounts and how to use them?
SUMMARY
- Satellite account definition.
- Three permission categories
- How to navigate the three categories.
- How we help.
Whenever a single master account attaches to multiple users, we refer to them as Satellite accounts. The functions and privileges of individual satellite logins have one of three permission levels:
1. A Client Category
has permission (or lack of it) as follows:
Permission to:- Only access and edit own URLs and assigned domains.
- Access the “the Manage URLs” page, Dashboard, Profile, Broken links page, and URL limits.
- Access any URLs or domains other than one’s own.
- Access or edit any settings or overall account limits.
2. Your Company (Master) Category
has permission (or lack of it) as follows:
- To see all URLs and domains.
- Edit one’s own URLs and domain.
- Access “the Manage URLs” page, Dashboard, Profile, Broken links page, and URL limits.
- Add, edit, or delete satellite accounts.
- Create the initial credentials for new users.
- Enable the private label feature so satellite users see your company logo instead of the TinyCC logo.
- Edit other URLs and domains.
- Access or edit any settings or overall account limits.
3. An Administration Category
has permission (or lack of it) as follows:
- Access to all URLs, domains, and settings
- Edit all of them.
- Add, edit, or delete satellite accounts.
- Create the initial credentials for new users.
- Access to the Billing page or Cancel Account buttons.
- We assign colors randomly to satellite accounts for organizing purposes (on the “Manage URLs page”). You can edit these colors as needed.
- We provide you with https://tinycc.com/tiny/account< - a dedicated login page. Convince your clients and employees to bookmark this page. Why?
- It allows satellite users to access their accounts directly.
- Simultaneously bypassing TinyCC graphics and identifiers.
- Delivering a more consistent private label experience to your customers and employees.
